Every day you wake up it’s a gift and a choice. A choice to show up better than the day before.

This shirt is a tribute to my father.

On the morning just before he passed, he woke me up early to watch the sunrise with him. He told me he knew it would be the last sunrise he would ever see.

He was calm. Clear. At peace. He told me he would die shortly after.

What he wanted me to understand wasn’t sadness, it was perspective. That every sunrise is a gift. That every time you’re given another morning, another breath, another day, it means there is still a plan. Still purpose. Still time. CHOICE.

Before that sunrise ended, we made a quiet promise.

That whenever I see the sun come up, I’ll remember that God has given me another day to make better choices. Another opportunity to fix what’s broken. Another chance to show up better.

If God keeps waking you up, he’s not done with you yet. It’s another day to have more choices, get it right. That’s why I want you to have this shirt, so you carry that reminder with you, every morning you’re given.
