Our Mission

We live in a world that constantly pulls us away from who God created us to be. Every day we're told to chase comfort over calling, feelings over truth, and approval over obedience. Our attention is divided, our convictions are tested, and it's never been easier to slowly drift from the life God has called us to live.

Born of Discipline was founded to push back against that. Inspired by the lessons AJ Buckley learned from his father and built alongside Sevag Messerlian and Jayden Kleinbard of Infynite Studios, our mission is to create apparel that starts conversations, strengthens faith, and points people toward Christ. Everything we create is built around three pillars we believe every Christian should pursue: Spirit. Mind. Body.

Spirit

The greatest battle isn't against the world—it's against becoming disconnected from God. Before discipline becomes action, it begins with surrender. When the world tells us to trust ourselves, we choose to trust Him. We believe lasting strength comes from walking with Christ daily, standing firm in His Word, and letting the Holy Spirit lead every step. A strong life begins with a rooted faith.

Mind

The mind is where battles are won long before they're ever seen. Fear, doubt, distraction, comparison, temptation, and the constant noise of culture compete for our attention every day. Scripture calls us to renew our minds and take every thought captive. We believe discipline begins by rejecting the lies of the world and anchoring ourselves in God's truth. Get your mind right, and your purpose becomes clear.

Body

The body is where faith becomes visible. Our bodies are gifts from God, entrusted to us to steward with discipline and purpose. Choosing consistency over comfort, action over excuses, and perseverance over convenience shapes more than physical strength—it builds character. The body reflects what the Spirit leads and what the mind believes.

My dad and I watched his last sunrise together. He told me, "No matter how hard life ever feels, you show up. You put the work in. The pain from regret or the pain from discipline. It's your choice, son." The way he raised me is the reason this brand exists. Built in his honor. Rooted in faith. Carried by discipline.
